Contrast: For this image, instead of making a stark contrast, I decided to make the text only slightly contrast from the color of the ocean. I chose to write a motivational quote, so I felt the very small contrast fit this image.
Repetition: An element of repetition that I used in this image was color. I chose a similar text color to the ocean color, which gave repetition to the image.
Alignment: I felt the text fit at the bottom of the image very well. I also put the text in the center of the image because the purpose of the image is to be simplistic.
Color Scheme: I felt like the light blue color of the text fit with the rest of the image. The quote that was used was meant to be inspirational so I decided the light blue color that slightly matched the color of the ocean would be a nice fit.
Photoshop: To create this image I first picked a photo of the ocean that I liked. This photo was darker on the internet so I used Camera Raw to brighten it and slightly blur the bottom of the image by the text. I then wrote the text in Photoshop and added a shadow behind it. I also changed the opacity slightly so it matched the color of the ocean more and blended better with the rest of the image.
