Contrast: To create contrast in this design I added a photo on the top of the design, then at the bottom I added text in different colors to add contrast as well. I also added a border around the text 'Last Day to Drop Classes' to add to the contrast as well.
Repetition: I kept the same font throughout the entire design to add repetition. I also kept all of the text in a similar place to add to the repetition as well.
Proximity: The text that I used for the information at the bottom is all close together which adds to the proximity of the design. I put the photo of Utah State directly on top of the section of the flyer with the information to add to the proximity as well.
Color Scheme: The color scheme I chose for this design was different shades of blue and white. I felt like the colors fit well with the school colors of Utah State and also caught the readers attention. I also added a black border around part of the text to make it stand out more and to add to the color scheme.
Photoshop: To create this design, I first found the photo of Utah State that I wanted to use and cropped it to fit the flyer dimensions. Then, I painted the light blue color on the bottom to add contrast. I then started adding in the text and placing it in the spots that I thought would work best. I changed some of the text to different colors to enhance the color scheme and make certain parts stand out more and I also added a border to part of the text to accomplish the same thing.
