Contrast: For this business card I wanted to keep the contrast of the design clear and professional. I did a half color, half white contrast to catch your eye.

Repetition: I practiced repetition on both sides of the business card with a repeated color scheme and the contrast of the colors are the same. I wanted to be sure it didn't look boring, so while I did follow the rule of repetition, I switched the colors to make it more interesting.

Proximity: I used white space to my advantage for this business card. I kept the contact text on the back side of the card close together so it is easy to see and stands out. I spaced out other parts like my name and what I offer because I think it makes it look more professional.

Color Scheme: I chose two colors for this business card because I didn't want it to be too overpowering with a lot of different colors. I used a light purple and white because it is different and I haven't seen many business cards with that color scheme. I used black text with the purple and white background because it stands out really well.

Photoshop: To create this business card I first used the correct sizing for a general business card. I then made sure the pacing on my two contrasting colors worked for both sides of the card. After, I found two different fonts for my name on the front to give it more dimension and interesting. Then, I found a more simplistic and easier to read font for the back side with all of the information. I spaced out the text on the bottom to fit in the middle of the purple box, which helped it fill the space. My goal was to use white space to my advantage for this card.
